Vanderbilt Hall Bouldering Room
The Vanderbilt Hall Bouldering Room (VHBR) is open to all members of the
Vanderbilt Hall Athletic Facility
and is conveniently located in the basement next too the squash courts.
We also have a limited number of pairs of climbing shoes for use in the bouldering room that you can borrow if
needed, but bring your own chalk.

The bouldering room is only open when a member of the staff is present.

Local Outdoor Bouldering Spots
- Longwood T-stop wall. This is a stone wall facing the Longwood T
stop on the other side of Chapel Street. Traverse back and forth, the
lower you stay the harder it is. Map:
here.

Hammond Pond, Chestnut Hill has some nice bouldering. The best is that
it is just about 30mins by bike from the hospitals at Longwood. Or you
can drive out route 9 to Chestnut hill, or take the T. Map with
different spots around Hammond Pond
